Well, I built a game: HEXDLE

You guess colors; specifically, hex codes.

It’s not great, but it does work. The UI is simultaneously fine by me & kinda atrocious. It’s fine, though.

I was playing Wordle, and I wondered is this just a bunch of <div>s? Yes, yes it is.

I can build <div>s! So I did.

Part of me wants to immediately rewrite it, but that’s exactly what I’m not going to do. Maybe next week I’ll clean it up.

I have to make sure it rolls over at midnight, but beyond that I think it’s perfectly playable.

If anything, building this game has taught me I’m not very in tune with color space. How can there be that much red in a color that’s green ? And yet …
